Project 08: Slicer Big

Large Slice Count:
I used the same design as my slicer mini and made 24 inches along the y axis.I checked to see that the amount of slices being used were no more or less than 12 slices.

Adobe Illustrator View:
After exporting the ESP file, I had to resize the artboard to fit my object. I then separated the text and the object into different layers.

Epilog App Settings for Raster Engraving/Vector Cutting:
I selected each layer and exported them to the Epilog App/Engraver separately to cut.

Laser Cutting Process:
I laser engraved the text layer first and the laser cutted the object perimeter.

Assembling Big Sliced Cube:
I assembked all of the interlocked slices using the corresponding numbers for the y and z slices.

I measured 24 inches along the y axis.
